Thank you for showing up to volunteer for Hawai`i Foodbank! This waiver form must be completed to participate in any event with Hawai'i Foodbank.
PLEASE READ THIS APPLICATION CAREFULLY TO VERIFY THAT THIS EVENT IS APPROPRIATE FOR YOU TO PARTICIPATE IN.
Each year, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) places thousands of bags in O'ahu and Kaua'i mailboxes, inviting residents to donate food for those in need. Letter carriers collect these donations and transport them to Hawai'i Foodbank for sorting and preparation before distribution to our community.
On Saturday, May 9, more than 400 volunteers will gather at our Mapunapuna warehouse to receive, move, inspect, and pack food collected from across O'ahu—over 300,000 pounds in 2025. The Letter Carriers’ Food Drive, along with our annual August Food Drive, is one of the largest events on the Hawai'i Foodbank calendar, and we would greatly appreciate your help.
Due to space and safety issues there is a strict limit to the number of volunteers allowed. Please submit this application only if you are certain that you will be able to attend. If you must cancel, please let us know ASAP so we can find a replacement.
When: Saturday, May 9 | 4:00–9:30 p.m. We strongly encourage volunteers to stay for the full shift to help minimize disruptions during the event.
